I am a strong advocate for employee mental health support from upper management, who I feel hold the lion’s share of responsibility for creating and sustaining a healthy workplace climate. I have considerable experience guiding employer human resource offices with assessing and evaluating the quality of workplace mental health.
Recently, the U.S. Surgeon General released a report that is absolutely essential reading for visitors to this page. It is The U.S. Surgeon General’s Framework for Workplace Mental Health & Well-Being (2022). For more information on workplace mental health, I highly recommend reviewing the 2022 Mind the Workplace Report from Mental Health America.
